The Carhartt C14 Arctic Jacket is a vintage, USA-made workwear coat, and the Carhartt A35 Hood is the specific, matching arctic-lined snap-on hood designed to fit it.
Carhartt C14 Jacket Description
  • Material & Shell: Typically built with a durable nylon or heavy-duty duck/canvas exterior and a contrasting corduroy collar. 
  • Insulation & Lining: Features a nylon lining quilted to warm polyester or arctic-weight insulation. 
  • Design & Pockets: Includes a full front zipper with a snap/zip storm closure, two lower front pockets, two button-flap or chest pockets, and interior pockets.
  • Collar & Snaps: The corduroy collar is equipped with under-collar snaps specifically engineered to attach an optional matching hood. 
  • Origin: Vintage styles from the 1990s or earlier era, Made in the USA. 
    • Carhartt A35 Hood Description
  • Compatibility: The A35 is a rare, discontinued matching hood that snaps directly into the under-collar snap configuration of the C14 (as well as select vintage styles like the J20). 
  • Fitment Note: Other standard or later Carhartt arctic-lined hood styles (such as those made for later models like the C55) do not properly fit the C14 because the snap spacing changed over time. 
  • Availability: Both the C14 jacket and the A35 hood are vintage and discontinued
