M-1951 Entrenching Shovel w/ Pick and Case

M1951 Entrenching Tool / folding Shovel with Pick, steel blade with pick and wood handle.
Great collectible gear!
The original entrenching shovels with the pick on the back side.
Markings are masked by dirt & rust.
Manufactured between 1951 and 1968 they are not commonly seen.
Does include a spade cover. (Marked Meyers and Son Mfg Co - 1945)
These shovels have 3 positions, and lock with a turn collar.
Will need cleaning and wire brushing and a good coat of OD paint or display as-is.

Well used piece of military history.
