This vintage Switlik parachute canopy was manufactured in April of 1965 and used during the Vietnam War era to drop emergency survival radios to downed airmen or survivors at sea. The 12 foot diameter canopy is made of yellow silk in great condition for its age. This dropped the popular "Gibson Girl" radio transmitter and is part of assembly 64C2372.
